How Hypnotherapy Changed my Life [West Shore Hypnotherapist]
I grew up as a really sensitive kid with a lot of big feelings, strong empathetic nature and much about what I have learned more recently: prone to easily getting overloaded.
This definitely made things difficult for all aspects of life, work and relationships.
So when I experienced hypnotherapy for the first time in 2011, needless to say it was such a beautiful break for my brain to help it process some of the things I had been experiencing my whole life. In particular my first issue that I worked on with my hypnotherapist at the time was issues sleeping. Coming from a background that had zero information about the unconscious mind and very little belief about things outside my own field of vision, my mind was BLOWN in how much information I was able to process through hypnotherapy.
I discovered the root cause of my sleep issues which had stemmed from when I was a teenager. I was able to work through it and create new sleep habits. I was able to look at everything moving forward in my life in a new way, new possibilities of being able to solve things I never thought possible.
Fast forward some years into 2019 where I had done some more personal development, discovered some energy modalities and essentially went from an atheist to a very spiritual person. I had spent some years deep into the woo woo and really started to figure out who I was and where I wanted to fit into this world.
But something was missing again. I needed more concrete techniques in solving mental health challenges, anxiety and the overwhelm the world had me locked into. The mantras and affirmations were just not quite cutting it.
And I came back to hypnotherapy and actually found a certification that did both hypnotherapy and neurolinguistic programming training.
This to me was the answer. I wanted the blend of something that tapped into the awareness of what was before my eyes, but the science and backing of real techniques and research.
Hypnotherapy is JUST that. So I received a certification in it for myself and really started to work on my "stuff".
Better tools for anxiety, dealing with childhood traumas, and finding confidence in ways that I never imagined could be within me.
Then it wasn't quite enough, covid had hit and a year later I signed up to do an advanced NLP & Hypnosis training. This time I knew it was for me and perhaps also for my personal branding coaching business I was building.
And there was something BIG I was still sitting on. Something big I really wanted to work through and my current tools were good, but I wanted better.
I was struggling with the issue of taking everything personally, and as someone who had already owned a personal brand style business for over 10 years in photography, it was something that killed me with clients.
So I took the advanced training and my life changed within a week. The advanced hypnosis skills I was able to use allowed me to see things in a new way.
And other things changed too.
How I saw the world.
How I saw myself. From introvert to more confident in front of others.
How I knew my business would move forward.
How I started to MANIFEST what I wanted by using the power of hypnosis and teaching my brain it was possible.
and now?
I can't imagine a day without using some sort of hypnosis to achieve goals, calm my anxiety, have compassion for other people and confidence in putting myself out there.
It's a science based modality that becomes infinitely more beneficial with some courage and belief.
I can't wait to share it with you.
